Bob Bevacqua is a retired businessman, a former aerospace engineer, and a global traveler who began playwriting after taking classes with John Glore at South Coast Repertory. Bob joined OCPA in 1995 (the same year it was founded) and has been honored to be appointed as a Member of its Board of Directors. He has written twenty-two short plays and four full-length plays to date, with many
of them receiving staged readings and productions in various venues throughout Southern California.
Much of his writing comes from a strong desire to tell a story that contains the expression of strong characters telling their own unique tale of what it is like to live in a time and place unlike the world we know today.
